Mr. Goode is a graduate of Texas Christian University. He was certified in 1966 and joined Carneiro, Chumney & Co. in 1988. He has over 30 years of experience in tax, audit, and management advisory services. Currently he specializes in assisting businesses with strategic planning, accounting systems, computerized financial modeling, bankruptcy activities, and troubled company workouts. He also provides litigation support to attorneys. Mr. Goode is also a Certified Fraud Examiner and an Accredited Senior Appraiser. He is married to Karle Ann and has three children.

- Professional Experience
- Carneiro, Chumney & Co., L.C. as a partner in 1988. Currently partner in charge of the Management Consulting Department.
- Areas of assistance include discovery assistance, collection, and reviewing of financial and other data, financial analysis, forensic accounting, fraud examination, business valuations, bankruptcy feasibility projections, determination of viable damage theories, calculation of damages on various methods including lost profits, analysis and evaluation of opposing party's damage calculations, assisting with depositions, and participating in planning and strategy determination. Also assisted in numerous malpractice suits involving Certified Public Accountants. Speaker on litigation support and business valuations for various programs for the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants on numerous occasions.
- Negotiations- Successfully supervised negotiation and settlement of over 200 lost profits claims from various types of business for a major railroad. The goal was to reach reasonable settlements and avoid litigation. This goal was achieved.
- Bankruptcy- Assisted companies in Chapter 11 with projections, valuations, and business planning. Speaker on Valuing Businesses in Bankruptcy at the 7th Annual Bankruptcy Conference, November 1989, sponsored by the University of Texas Law School.
- Consulting- Emphasis on business planning, computerized financial modeling, troubled company workouts, and litigation support. Also, active in financing arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital projects, business valuations, and assistance to companies in bankruptcy.
- 1985-1988 Self-employed. Provided audit, tax, and consulting services. Consulting services were primarily in the areas of business planning, venture capital financing, and litigation support.
- 1960-1985 Grant Thornton, International Managing Partner - 1973-1985 During his tenure as Managing Partner, the operation grew from one office of 20 personnel to 5 offices with over 150 personnel. In addition to being managing partner of San Antonio and South Texas, duties included head of the audit department and management consulting department and technical reviewer for Securities and Exchange matters in the region. Industry experience over the 25 years with Grant Thornton was very broad and included companies from small to international in size. Retired from Grant Thornton in 1985 to pursue a consulting career.
