         Eddie joined the firm in January of 2005 with 27 years experience in public accounting.  Although his background included audit, tax and consulting work, Eddie is now an audit partner in the firm.

 

         A graduate of Texas A&M University, Eddie began his professional career in Laredo, Texas in 1977.  In 1992, he moved to San Antonio in an expansion of his Laredo office until he joined forces with Carneiro, Chumney & Co.

 

         Eddie has served on the Technical Standards Review Committee of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy and the Peer Review Committee of the Texas Society of CPAs.  He currently serves as a Director and Treasurer of JOVEN, and is a member of the Alamo Kiwanis Club.

 

         Eddie is married to Bernadette, and has two sons.
