2007 to present:
Promoted to Audit
Supervisor. In
addition to the duties of senior detailed below, is responsible for
developing and implementing staff training programs for all new team
members, planning and executing regular departmental meetings for
technical updates and other departmental communications and
participation in the Synergy Team marketing program.

2000 to 2006. Promoted to
the position of Audit Senior. Performs various audit engagements for
a diverse array of clientele, including small to mid-size business,
not‑for‑profit organizations, and others.
Specializes in fraud examinations and in not-for-profit services
related to federal awards auditing and reporting.

1999. Joined the audit
team at Carneiro, Chumney & Co., LC.

1991 – 1999. Auditor for
Hidalgo and Montgomery Counties.

Drafted internal audit procedures for the counties, performed various
internal audits, reviewed audit workpapers, prepared reports analyzing
expenditures for various departments, approved invoices for payment,
prepared financial statements for the county’s comprehensive annual
financial reports, prepared grant reports.
